WOODRIDGE SOCCER ASSOCIATION CODE OF CONDUCT
All players, coaches and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is becoming of a member
of the WSA at all times.  Negative behavior by word or action will not be tolerated and will be grounds for removal
from the program.

It is the duty and responsibility of each coach to:

1.        Encourage clean competition and good sportsmanship.
2.        Train and coach their team to the best of his/her ability.
3.        Participate in positive coaching that instructs and encourages players during practices and games.  Negative
comments and complaints regarding game officials will not be tolerated.
4.        Be responsible for the actions of their players and spectators, and are required to take all actions necessary
to prevent spectators from shouting negative remarks and complaints toward officials, players, other coaches, or
spectators before, during and after any game.

ALL COACHES, SPECTATORS AND PARTICIPANTS WILL REFRAIN FROM THE USE OF ALL TOBACCO AND
ALCOHOL PRODUCTS DURING PRACTICE SESSIONS AND GAMES.  
WOODRIDGE PARK DISTRICT BEHAVIOR POLICY
Participants are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times. The following guidelines have been developed
to help make Park District programs safe and enjoyable for all participants.

Participants shall:

1. Show respect to all participants and staff, take direction from staff.
2. Refrain from using abusive or foul language.
3. Refrain from causing bodily harm to self, other participants, or staff.
Show respect to equipment, supplies and facilities.

A positive approach will be used regarding discipline. Staff will periodically review rules with participants during the
program session. If inappropriate behavior occurs, prompt resolution will be sought specific to each individual
situation. The Park District reserves the right to dismiss a participant whose behavior endangers the safety of
himself/herself or others.
